Furoshikis colorful gift wrapping
$10.00 ex VAT
Furoshiki comes to us from Japan, a traditional folding method. It is an ecological way to offer gifts, the fabric can then be reused for another package wrapping or to decorate a tissue box for example.
Furoshiki can also be used to wrap bentos, lunch boxes.
Features
The fabric furoshiki is entirely handmade in my workshop.
The furoshiki allows you to wrap various gifts, a book or several or a packet of chocolate, it will become a unique gift with this original case.
This packaging can then be used for other purposes for the person to whom you offer it. It can indeed be used to wrap a box of tissues for example and this fabric will become a decorative accessory.
The Japanese also use it to surround and therefore transport their bento on a daily basis when they go to work.
The folding can be done in a few steps and will close with a simple knot. You can find multiple tutorials on the internet to make pretty gift packages. You can find all the folding techniques on the website of the Japanese Ministry of the Environment, rest assured these are images….
Cotton fabrics with a golden star pattern, a hem surrounds it. You can choose two fabric colors, a deep midnight blue or a white according to your tastes.
